In touch with soul!

He started singing ,"marugelaraaaa ooRaghava...".The toddler started listening and got engrossed

and started beating his palm for the rhythm.He got inspired went on singing.There was amoment

when he had closed his eyes and the babe kept listening with involvement.The song came to the

end,There was ecstasy on his face.He came up to the toddler and did NAMASKARAM with his

hands folded.I was watching over with joy that rapt moment

A new role!

Raju's death demanded a new role from his brother.He had to take the place of Raju in his son,Raghu's wedding. The vedic prescription of the couple to lead any auspicious function,made me play the role of Raghu's mother,in her presence. In a narrow perspective,it might look cruel,but the VEDAS tell us individuals donot matter and all life is one,as seas take the identity of rivers.March 18th was decided for he wedding.The function to take place in Chennai,the bride's place.Wedding prelimenaries started on 16th,Friday at Raju's place.The extended family took an active role.The Friday wore afestive look.The rituals were performed with interest and devotion.
Lilly,Raju's sister lead the rituals connected with ladies.We both were on the dias with the groom.
The ladies were busy doing pooja to he pendal and honouring the ladies,as we are told,when keep the lady happy the home is happy.All were busy from 8am to 11 am.The beginning was grand and good,and we knew the the rest of rituals would go well. Betu vadhyar went in elaboration.Three hour long rituals added an aura to the home.Every one was busy and added their bit in to the function.Raju,though absent physically,am sure watched over and saw the mood of joy prevailed. The evening we left for Chennai.The morning of 17th we reached and ceremoniously received by the bride's party.All was well attended. 18th morning the wedding ceremony stated with an aura of joy.I experienced the spirit of VASUDEVAKUNTABAM.
