The days have become very hectic.Not much time to think of certain tradition and cutoms.
I heard him say the last Saturday of shravana is this one.He meant I should plan special offering
to lord Srinivasa,thats called " thambittu" I decided I should do it and got a mail from shaila to say Pooja is fine.She was worried about her as well we her sisters.Istarted with all enthusiasm.It meant a lttle more work and I was hard pressed for time.It came out well.The pooja started and the door bell rang.When I opened what I saw filled me with Joy.Lord Srinivasa had come to take alms!
Actually I was wondering why and when this tradition would have started? do you have any clue? or is it that it is an enactment of Lord srinivasa's begging, and he is perinnial beggar:)
