The day's hard work brought you home
Near seven when you came in
another hour your kid took
when your man came you were busy
getting the dinner ready.
wouldnot it be nice to sit down and talk
any dinner would be tasty
Every minute got for each to hold hands
sit and tell sweetnothings
Is far better than lovely dinner,sweat,loudtalk
may be we need to know what matters most
when babe sleeps sit down to freeze the time
